Dr Boyle's research seeks to identify new traits that define subgroups of critically ill patients, before second, studying whether these traits can be used to identify subgroups of patients who benefit from a specific treatment within clinical trials. He aims to do this using a biological and data-driven approach to his research programme and the clinical trials he leads.
