Assessing the Training Needs and Perceived Benefits of Professional Development for Postgraduate Research Students
Students currently enrolled for Biomedical Sciences, Medicine, Dentistry or a related discipline who have completed at least one year of full-time study from any UK Higher Education Institution are eligible to apply.
Each summer studentship pays a student stipend of £200 per week for a maximum of 8 weeks. Students (including those from other UK institutions) who successfully complete the programme may be eligible for Degree Plus status upon graduation.
The successful candidate should also meet the following criteria:
- Excellent research and analytical skills, with the ability to gather and synthesise information from diverse sources.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex ideas in a clear and concise manner.
- Self-motivated, detail-orientated and able to work independently or as part of a team.
Candidates should submit:
- A current CV including your full academic profile (or transcript)
- Your student number if you are a QUB student
- A covering letter stating your reasons for applying to a Postgraduate Research Summer Studentship within the School of Medicine, Dentistry & Biomedical Sciences and the year of study that you are completing this summer.
