Our staff hold prestigious positions including being elected members of committees: Chair of the Palliative Care Research Network, All Ireland Institute of Hospice and Palliative Care; Executive committee member of the heart failure association on the European Society of Cardiology. Additionally, we hold editorial position with journals, such as: Frontiers Public Health; European Heart journal - Digital health; BMC Cancer; and ESC Heart Failure. Our research has been recognised through various awards such as: RCN Nurse of the Year awards with and staff named as a pioneering palliative care nurse by St Christopher’s Hospice London.
