Policy & guidance

This section aims at providing clarity on policies, procedures and guidance that are of special interest to postdocs and researchers.

As a postdoc or researcher, it can be complicated at times to understand what is expected from you and what you are "allowed" to do or not. You may find it difficult to find the information you are looking for and understand how policies apply to your specific situation as a postdoctoral researcher employed on a fixed-term contract.

The PDC aims at clarifying this, by directing you to the University policies that are the most relevant to you, as well as develop guidance and new specific reasonable "good practice" guidelines in areas for which there are no policies in place but that are important to you, such as teaching and work-life balance.
