Overview
We intend to bring together postdocs (and other research staff) interested in contributing to researcher-led events and initiatives. Such initiatives include communities of practice (people learning from each-other through, e.g., writing group, R club...), social and networking events, and showcase events etc.
All research staff from all Faculties are welcome, including those with an idea they would like to bring to life as well as those who don't have an idea but are keen to help and participate.
We expect the 'society' will be run autonomously by research staff, with some support from the PDC (including some funding, administrative support, website etc.). This will give members the freedom to bring their own ideas to life and develop experience of leading projects, working as a team etc. outside direct research, which is valuable on CVs (leadership, management...), as well as network with peers across the institution.

This form enables you to register for the meeting but also to register your interest to participate, even if you can't attend the first meeting.
This event will be facilitated by Dr Alice Dubois, Postdoctoral Development Centre Manager.
