Vice-Chancellor welcomes Health and Wealth report

Queen’s University Vice-Chancellor Professor Ian Greer has welcomed a recently published report focusing on the importance of policy partnership working to deliver results for health and the Northern Ireland economy.

The report, “Health and Wealth in Northern Ireland; Capitalising on the opportunities”, commissioned by the Health Innovation Research Alliance Northern Ireland and NICON, sets out the direction of a health and economy partnership.  

It stresses the importance of targeted investment in innovation and research & development, to transform health and wealth outcomes across Northern Ireland, creating jobs, a strong economy and a healthy workforce.  

Queen's University contributes to this alliance of universities, health organisations and other industry bodies.
