Following a recent review of the clinical placement levy by the Department of Health, the levy will increase to £11,500 for students commencing in the 2024/25 academic year. The levy of £11,500 is payable in each year of study to cover access to clinical placements in the Northern Ireland Health and Social Care system. The clinical placement levy is not included in the tuition fee quoted above and is payable in addition to the fee quoted in each of the 5 years of study. For students commencing Year 1 in 2024/25, the University will provide financial support in relation to this levy of £11,500 for Year 1 and £5,750 in Year 2.
