Queen’s Vice-Chancellor Professor Ian Greer has sent his condolences to those affected by the earthquakes in Türkiye and Syria.  Professor Greer said: “We all feel the pain of the people of Türkiye and Syria who have been affected by this enormous tragedy and our thoughts are with the thousands who have died and been injured.

We recognise this will be a very difficult time for so many, and want to remind all students that the University has a range of support and guidance measures in place and would encourage our Turkish and Syrian students and staff to reach out for that help."
