Overview
All eligible full and part time PhD students, in their first year of study, are invited to apply; normally one award of £500 is made per annum to the student who, in the judgement of the School Scholarships and Awards Committee, would best promote the development of research in Nursing. The funding could be used for the purposes of attending a conference, purchasing research materials or services.

The Fund was established as the result of a donation made by Dr Mona Grey, a leading figure in Northern Ireland nursing.
