Wellbeing

The Queen’s Annual Fund has enabled the delivery of the Mind Matters programme, run in partnership with Aware NI. This initiative gives students and staff the chance to learn about mental health, explore techniques to improve wellbeing, and develop coping strategies for times when life feels overwhelming. With funding support, Queen’s has been able to offer up to 60 places for participants to benefit from expert-led workshops and training. The programme helps create a healthier, more resilient community on campus and ensures that mental health education and support are accessible to those who need it most.

“I’m involved with this project as a Wellbeing Ambassador, it’s a way for students to learn techniques and coping strategies to improve their mental health and it has helped so many people, we couldn’t have done this without the funding.” Ciara Devine
