Chancellery Events are responsible for the event management and operations of key institutional events such as Graduation Seasons (Summer/Winter), Honorary Degree Conferrals/Graduations both in country and internationally, core University events such as 25 Years' Service Awards, Remembrance Sunday Memorial Service, the Annual Chaplains Carol Service as well as Vice-Chancellor focussed events throughout the academic year. Due to their vast experience in event and conference management, they also offer a consultancy service to colleagues across the University allowing for consistency in professionalism on all University-led events.
Queen's provides venues within Queen's University Belfast for corporate, civic or private functions. With over 100 buildings of special or historical interest within its estate, Queen’s University can provide a venue to meet almost any conceivable interest or need.
Our Chancellery Events team have organised events at the University for international dignitaries, royalty and presidents, and are responsible for organising Vice-Chancellor focussed events and various University core events.
To manage such a high-profile portfolio of events, The Chancellery Events team engage many in-house teams and external suppliers and have a bank of contacts that they work with regularly. The team are greatly supported by their in-house catering, porterage, estates and media services teams and also work with musicians, lighting/sound teams, performers, gift suppliers and florists to enhance each event.
