The Students’ Union at One Elmwood is ready for you. This is the place to hang out in the Union bar and Terrace, grab a coffee with friends, set up a group study session in our tech friendly spaces or go to a gig in our new Mandela Hall. We’re totally buzzing for the new Union.

Students' Union at One Elmwood

This year’s group of students will be the first to experience all that the Union has on offer in our new purpose built, state of the art home and it is so exciting that the building will be open for Freshers.

We are planning a whole host of events from the RAG Pub Crawl to the Clubs & Societies Freshers’ Fair and the SU Big Night in - it will be our students’ introduction to campus life and ways they can get involved whilst studying at Queen’s.

The new Students’ Union will also provide further opportunities for students to engage with our key services; to get advice, become a volunteer, further their entrepreneurial skills and to have their voice heard on key issues.

Now more than ever, it is so important to have a space on campus for students to gather together to share interests, to make and meet friends and to get the support they need. It is also so important that it is an accessible space that is open to everyone; it is equipped with lifts, quiet rooms and gender-neutral toilets. A space for all our students, a space that everyone can feel at home.

I’m from Belfast and I'm the President of the Student's Union at Queen's.

Each year, students are elected to become Student Officers. We are here to help you, represent you, organise campaigns to make the changes you want and lead the Union on your behalf.
