Parents'/Guardians' Evening for Arts, Humanities and Social Sciences

Thursday 21 February 2019, 7.00-9.30PM Whitla Hall, Queen's University Belfast

At this event attendees and their Parents/Guardians will find out about the broad range of degrees available in the Faculty of Arts, Humanities and Social Sciences at Queen’s University. They will hear about the subjects and grades needed at GCSE and A Level (or equivalent) to gain entry to the degrees, and also the career options available. Attendees will also have the opportunity to chat informally with staff and current students.

Queens Management School Offer Holder Event

Queen’s Management School is holding an event for current Offer Holders on the 2 March 2019 commencing at 9am.

This event will provide you with an opportunity to speak informally with staff and students, recent graduates and members of the business community who employ many of our graduates.  In addition, there will be short informative talks and interactive sessions from all of the Programme Teams and staff from our Admissions Service will answer any queries you may have. 

In the afternoon there will be an optional campus tour which will include a visit to the McClay Library, Physical Education Centre (PEC) and University accommodation (note that a detailed programme for each event will be available in due course).

Your family are very welcome to join you for the event too and we are pleased to offer refreshments to everyone who attends.

This event will provide you with an opportunity to find out more details about the degree itself, including course content, assessment methods, options to study abroad and also careers opportunities.  You will also have the opportunity to chat informally with the lecturers and meet current students on the degrees, to help you gain a real insight into what it is like to study here.  

The morning will consist of talks/taster sessions for each of the degrees. Students who have attended this event in the past found it worthwhile in helping them to choose the best course for them.

Your family are very welcome to join you for the event.  Attendance at this event is highly recommended for all 'Offer Holders'.

There is available parking on the main Queen's campus however spaces are limited.
