Queen’s Childcare Services operates a Swap Shop where you can swap:    

• children’s toys 

• children’s clothes 

• equipment eg, car seats. 

How Our Swap Shop Works 

Our Swap Shop is a simple and sustainable way for families to share children’s items they no longer need and swap for another item on offer that they could use. 

Parents are welcome to bring in clean, good-quality items that their child has outgrown and place them in the Swap Shop. You don’t need to swap like-for-like.  Families are free to take any items they feel would be useful for their child. 

The Childcare at Queen’s Swap Shop Initiative focuses on reducing waste, supporting families, and encouraging children to learn about sharing and caring for our environment. There is no cost involved, and participation is entirely optional. 

If we find there is an excess of items, they are either donated to the nominated charity of QUB Sustainability Team or to local charity shops.
