The Mature Student Society
Open to all Queen's students, the MatSoc is dedicated to providing social and academic opportunities for anyone who wants to join them. They have facilitated collaboration between undergraduate and postgraduate students on projects of mutual interest. They offer a different atmosphere from the usual hubbub of university life, with less of a focus on alcohol-related activities, regular coffee mornings, mindfulness sessions, board games, pizza nights, quiz night in the SU Wee Bar and field trips/days out. Have you already got a hobby and want to continue it further? Or do you want to learn something new? With over 200 clubs and societies at Queen's, you are spoilt for choice!

The Students' Union
One Elmwood is the home for the Students' Union which provides you with vital support and opportunities to socialise and take part in activities; all to help you make friends and develop your skillset during your time at Queens'. From grabbing coffee, studying in a tech-friendly space, meeting up with others from your club or society, to grabbing lunch from the Union shop, to enjoying a pint in the Union Bar, or going to a gig in the Mandela Hall- your new Students' Union is buzzing with activity.
