Media and Climate from a Youth Perspective - live show by the MA Media & Broadcast Production class

How can we tell the story of climate change in a way that will effect change? How can a youth perspective be of value in this debate?

Date(s)
November 10, 2021
Location
Sonic Lab, Sonic Arts Research Centre
Time
14:00 - 15:00

How can animation be a useful tool in this narrative enterprise? Are there lessons we can share with each other from various parts of the world that can help us change? These are some of the issues that will be discussed in an event that ponders the stories that need to be told now about the climate emergency.

Join us either in the Sonic Lab at SARC or online (here) at 2pm on Wednesday Nov 10th to explore the above issues together. We'll have panels on animation as a valuable tool; a transatlantic discussion with students at Columbia University's Graduate School of Journalism and a tour of an environment-themed website produced by students here at QUB.

Spaces for the in-person event are bookable here. Or you can watch the livestream here.
