Do you make use of any assistive technologies when you are studying or completing assessments?

Whether you are new to Assistive Technologies, or need a re-fresh on how to get the most out of them, this webinar is for you.

In this short session, we will be covering a few examples of key assistive technologies which can help you with:

  • Speech to text
  • Mind mapping
  • Reading and writing
  • Maths equations and formulae
  • And more!

This session will include a short presentation, followed by a Q&A where you will have the opportunity to ask any questions you may have.

Some of these software programmes and assistive technologies are only available through licences either purchased individually or through funded support arranged by Disability Services. Other technologies may be available on-campus through institutional licences. The webinar will clearly outline whether an institutional licence is in place.

The presentation element of this webinar was recorded, please find a copy of the recording here.

Got any questions? Let us know at disability.office@qub.ac.uk and we will get back to you as soon as possible.
