The annual Marine Lab Open Day will take place on Saturday 5 August from 10.00am to 3.00pm at the Marine Lab, 12-13 The Shore, Portaferry. This is a family friendly accessible event suitable for all ages.

Attendees can meet some of our marine researchers, learn about ongoing projects in the lab, and see our amazing wave tank in action. We will have model boats and local marine life, and guests from Ulster Wildlife Marine Division will also be attending. The event is run alongside the Portaferry Sails and Sounds Festival so there will be plenty of activities around the town to make a day of your visit.
