About the Seminar
The talk will address the challenges and opportunities in the transition to healthier diets from sustainable sources. The shift towards a plant-rich diet would bring a range of health, environmental and economic benefits but do all plant based products offer health benefits? Separating fact from fiction, Aedín will share the latest evidence-based nutrition research on the importance of a plant-rich diet for a range of health outcomes and the role key constituents in plants called flavonoids may play in driving these benefits.
