The event will be followed by book sales and a signing with LGBTQ+ Belfast bookshop PaperxClips.

Stephen Daly is an author and photographer from Belfast. With a background in theatre, Stephen knows that storytelling is the best way to reflect the complexities of life. The Last Death Poet has personal resonance; Stephen grew up as a queer young man during the Troubles and left the country at eighteen to try and be himself. He believes it's time to tell more queer Irish stories.

The Last Death Poet is Stephen's debut YA novel, publishing with Rock the Boat in April 2026. An LGBTQ+ coming-of-age novel set in Belfast with a paranormal twist.

Tara Lynne O’Neill is a theatre, TV and film actor, writer and producer from Northern Ireland. Her film and TV work includes dramas for ITV, HBO and BBC and most recently Hope Street and Derry Girls for CHANNEL 4. She has worked with numerous Companies and Theatres including TINDERBOX and THE LYRIC where she was the writer and starred in Rough Girls a play about women’s football in Belfast.
