Queen's Launch Feature Video Celebrating 180 Years of Hope and History
Queen’s University has officially launched a new feature video to mark its 180th anniversary, celebrating nearly two centuries of education, innovation and real-world impact.
Watch: Queen’s 180th Anniversary Campaign Video
The video, which follows the recent 180 campaign launch event, highlights the people and communities who have shaped - and been shaped by - Queen’s over generations. It is narrated by Belfast-born actor, former Queen’s student and honorary graduate, Ciarán Hinds, and brings to life the university’s enduring contribution to society through research, education, and partnerships.

Throughout the 180th anniversary year, Queen’s will roll out a wide range of events, activities and stories to showcase its civic and global reach, centred around five core themes: Health & Wellbeing, Social Value, Community Partnerships, Innovation & Technology, and Sustainability.
As part of the campaign, staff, students, alumni and others connected with the university are also invited to share their own memories and experiences of Queen’s. Contributions will help to build a collective story of the university’s legacy - and its future - with a chance to win mystery prizes.
