  • Helps create, edit, produce and promote podcasts based on research and academic expertise from across AHSS
  • Works with media outlets such as BBC, RTÉ and C4 as well as independent documentary producers to promote AHSS research with a view to having programmes commissioned. Also develops closer links with media outlets and producers and the University by holding workshops
  • Works with academics in Faculty to help develop their research into ideas and themes that could work as documentary programmes on TV, Radio and podcasts
  • Works with broadsheet media across the UK and Ireland to promote AHSS’ academic expertise.

  • Provides administrative support to the Dean of Education and Dean of Graduate Studies in co-ordinating and implementing key aspects of the Faculty’s education and postgraduate activities
  • Supports the Faculty UG Education Committee and PG Education and Research Committee as well as the Cross-Faculty and Joint Degrees and Study Abroad and International Exchanges Subgroups

GLOBAL MOBILITY TEAM

  • Supports the Global Support Officer in taking responsibility for providing a first-class service in all aspects of the experience of visiting students, specifically in the areas of Short-Term Study. 
  • Operational management of the coordination and delivery of programmes of short-term study for visiting students.
  • Leads on the delivery of events and activities for visiting students, particularly cohort groups from partner institutions, across the Faculty of Arts, Humanities and Social Sciences, including pre-arrival workshops, induction events, registration, field trips and social events.
  • Key contact in the development of partnerships within the AHSS Faculty, supporting the Dean of Internationalisation and Engagements and the Associate Dean of Global Reputation and Partnership.
