Join us for a celebration of local, collaborative, and contemporary archiving with a special screening and discussion of collected videos from community participants from Phase 1 of the Northern Ireland Now Project.

This special event with Queen’s University Belfast as part of Refugee Week will showcase a selection of videos from some of the diverse community organisations who engaged with the first Northern Ireland Now Project, selecting videos to be a part of a new collection on the Digital Film Archive.

Following a compilation of video materials there will be a panel discussion with community partners on the project, those who represent groups working with refugees and asylum seekers as well as from ethnic minorities in Northern Ireland.

Northern Ireland Now is a contemporary collecting project run in partnership with the Nerve Centre and Northern Ireland Screen.
