We  are delighted to welcome Prof Markus Fischer, a visiting Professor from Hochschule RheinMain in Wiesbaden, Germany. Markus is a professor for social work law with a focus on child protection law from a children’s rights’ perspective. He will be spending May, June and July in our School with Dirk Schubotz and the Centre for Children’s Rights to undertake a comparative study on child protection law in German and the devolved countries in the UK, as well as Ireland.  Markus will present his work on 13th June as part of the Centre of Children’s Rights seminar series.
