Head Gardener Paul Wallace was named Medallist of the Order of the British Empire (BEM) for services to higher education and to the community in Belfast.

Tricia Lock, from the School of History, Anthropology, Philosophy and Politics, was named Medallist of the Order of the British Empire (BEM) for services to the community in Northern Ireland.

Paul and Tricia join an impressive group of Queen's staff past and present who have been honoured in this way.
