Organised by Queen's Students' Union with support from Queen's Public Engagement department and People and Culture Directorate, the event offered the University community an opportunity to reflect on the contributions of Black scholars at Queen's, while sampling a range of delicious Afro-Caribbean food and meeting members of the growing Queen's University Belfast African Scholars Research Network (AfSRN).
