This programme was designed to improve L2 BSc students’ research skills in Pharmaceutical Sciences and Pharmaceutical Biotechnology, with a view to enhancing their careers employability in the future. Sustainable funding has been secured from industry (Beijing Nuokangda Pharm. Co. Ltd in China) and successful applicants are provided the opportunity to undertake research projects in their preferred areas under the supervision of CQC academic staff. More specifically, literature review and general training take place in S1 and lab-field practicals are performed in S2 out of the curricular timetables. It is worth noting that this activity has been recognized as one of extracurricular awards by our Chinese partner CMU.
