The preparations for constitutional change on the island of Ireland are advancing at a significant pace. When the Constitutional Conversations Group commenced work many of the basic logistical and legal questions around the provisions of the Good Friday Agreement on the right of self-determination were under-explored. The relevant gaps are increasingly being filled. As this island journeys towards the referendums anticipated in the Agreement, the conversation is entering a significant new phase.

The aim of this participative event is to assist that process by engaging the audience on what the key ingredients must be. What will be on offer? What might a New Ireland look like? What should new constitutional arrangements include? How might all-island civic engagement work? These are only some of the questions that will be addressed by the Constitutional Conversations Group in dialogue with the audience at this interactive event.
