This event is for students only, with plenty of opportunity for discussion and questions, and as close to being in the same room as we can make it! Students are invited to submit questions in advance on any part of the process: research, planning, characterisation, points of view, tense, plot, dialogue, editing and getting published. Nothing is off limits! 

Marian will be referring to her latest novel 'Grown Ups' during the session. This book will be under discussion in the Book Club event the previous evening.

With a chatty conversational style and whimsical Irish humour, but themes including alcoholism, depression, addiction, cancer, bereavement, and domestic violence her novels have sold over 40 million copies worldwide and been translated into 36 languages. Marian's latest novel, Grown Ups, was published by Penguin in February 2020.
