VECTOR SYNTHESIS uses sound synthesis and vector graphics techniques to investigate the direct relationship between sound+image. It draws inspiration from media archaeology and obsolete technologies such as the Cathode Ray Tube monitor and the early vector computer graphics executed on it, combined with the possibilities of modern laser displays. Audio waveforms control the vertical and horizontal movements as well as the color and brightness of a single beam of light. What is seen and heard are both an expression of the same electronic signal.
