Staff and students are warmly invited to attend our fifth virtual LINCS seminar series event on Wednesday 12th May at 3pm.

Ciara McHugh, 3rd year LINCS doctoral scholar, will be presenting on the topic of 'Racism isn't getting worse. It's getting filmed': (counter-)surveillance and BLM. This seminar may be of particular interest to PhD/early career researchers across a wide range of disciplines.

The LINCS seminar series aims to promote research at the interface of technology and the social sciences. Anyone with an interest in technology’s impact on society is encouraged to join, listen and take part in friendly discussion afterwards.

LINCS (Leverhulme Interdisciplinary Network on Cybersecurity and Network) brings together The Senator George J. Mitchell Institute for Global Peace, Security and Justice and the Centre for Secure Information Technologies (CSIT) to develop a distinctive cohort of doctoral students working across the boundaries of their disciplines. The LINCS Seminar series is student-led and organised and chaired by doctoral scholars on the LINCS programme.
