Workshop 4 - Glasgow (via zoom), 10-11th June 2021: ‘Conserving electronic resources: Sustainability in a digital world’

In this final workshop we will address any outstanding issues from the earlier events, particularly in terms of representation of texts, but we will focus on the technical and organisational infrastructure that is required for the long-term sustainability of digital resources. Have we secured the resources for future generations of scholars? Where are the resources being hosted and is there suitable institutional and technical support in place? Moreover, we will consider how we have enabled others to link to or repurpose our data and what more could be done in that direction? We will explore the possibilities of moving forward within a broad framework for Gaelic Studies resources, aiming to maximise the linkages between us.
