The Mitchell Institute, in partnership with The Executive Office (NI) and Co-operation Ireland, is pleased to invite you to the launch of a collection of Area Research Reports, which have been developed on behalf of the Communities in Transition programme.

The Communities in Transition programme funds projects that aim to develop the capacity of eight areas in Northern Ireland where there has been a history of paramilitary activity, organised crime and coercive control.

The authors of the Area Research Reports, Prof Dominic Bryan and Dr Brendan Sturgeon, have adopted an innovative mix-methods approach, which includes a Household Survey, in-depth Qualitative Interviews and a PGIS Spraycan Mapping Tool, to explore the current social condition of each of the sites where the Communities in Transition programme is active.

Join us for a presentation of our research findings and presentations from some of our CIT Delivery Partners who are working in these areas. The event will conclude with a Q&A session with the speakers.

You are welcome to arrive from 10am. Tea and coffee will be provided on arrival.

The event will officially start at 10:30am and conclude no later than 12pm.

You can also download the Research Reports from Co-operation Ireland's website - https://cooperationireland.org/projects/communities-in-transition-area-reports/
