The Pomodoro Technique is a time management method that encourages work and productivity in interludes of 25 minute sessions with 5 minute breaks.

There will then be a 15-30 minute break after 4 25 minute sessions. Students will work in silence whilst the timer is displayed on the screen. Students are encouraged to bring a small ‘to-do-list’ before each session so that they feel satisfied with what they achieve. Some light refreshments will be provided. This session will correspond with ‘Shut up and Write’ which will encourage students to complete their work whilst following the Pomodoro Technique.
