The Research Strategy & Engagement team in the Research & Enterprise Directorate are delighted to host this interactive workshop for researchers which will be facilitated by engagement consultant, Dr Jamie Gallagher, an award-winning freelance communicator, and engagement professional with ten years’ experience in the delivery and evaluation of quality engagement projects. This workshop will be held in person on Tuesday 12 September 2023 from 1.30 pm – 4.30 pm. It has been designed to enable participants to discover how to create engagement activities that lead to long-lasting and meaningful impact. Participants will explore the research impact landscape discovering how to create changes and benefits beyond the academic. From planning engagement projects, to working with communities, this session will show attendees how to create high quality projects tailored to their subject and skills. Whether your research team is new to engagement or aiming to find new perspectives on how to engage others with your research, this workshop provides helpful strategies for making the most of your engagement.
