The event will be co-delivered by Prof Franziska Schroeder (AEL, Music) alongside Prof Emily Howard, Founding Director of PRiSM Research, and Dr Christopher Melen, PRiSM Research Software Engineer (both of the Royal Northern College of Music). The presentation is a follow-up to a two-day intensive training event on neural networks, featuring the musical data input by Franziska Schroeder, who is a saxophonist and improviser.

The speakers will provide valuable insights into the processes involved in training a neural network, along with a comprehensive overview of the utilization of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in the domain of music composition. As such, the presentation promises to be a valuable resource for individuals seeking to enhance their understanding of AI techniques and their applications in music.
