Some of the most influential figures on race equality in Northern Ireland will take part in this inaugural Race Equality in Higher Education conference at Queen’s.
Hosted by the Queen’s Gender Initiative who lead the Race Equality Charter programme in Queen's, keynote speakers include Sheree Acheson and Alfred Abolarin.
This hybrid conference will feature keynote speeches, panel discussions with interactive Q&A sessions and digital content including podcasts and videos.
Academics, researchers, students and practitioners will explore challenges and interventions to elucidate promising approaches to embed cultural change, diversity, inclusion and belonging.
Areas of focus will include student experiences, curriculum design, research frameworks, community impact and staff/student support mechanisms.
