Discover the creativity and possibility of circular design in this interactive workshop led by Síofra of Jump the Hedges, a designer known for transforming reclaimed materials into bold, functional pieces.

As part of the Reach ’26 Festival, this hands‑on session invites you to explore sustainable making in a relaxed, supportive environment. You will learn how innovative material‑led design can give waste a new life, before creating your own keyring accessory using reclaimed banner cloth.

What to Expect

  • An engaging introduction to circular design and creative reuse
  • Guidance from Síofra on working with reclaimed materials
  • A practical, make‑your‑own activity suitable for beginners
  • A unique, handmade keyring to take home

Who Can Take Part?

This workshop is open to:

  • Adults, and
  • Young people aged 12+ who can safely use scissors without supervision.

You will also receive free access to the Ulster Museum’s acclaimed exhibition Ashes to Fashion, showcasing innovation, craft, and sustainability in contemporary design.
