Over the past two years, Technician Apprentices have worked across a range of our Directorates, Faculties and Schools and have combined study with hands-on practical experience in Queen’s advanced facilities. They have not only achieved qualifications through our partnership with Belfast Met, but have also grown into confident, highly skilled technicians.

The event celebrated the achievements of six apprentices in under Applied Sciences framework, one in Creative Media (with Film), and seven in IT.

We congratulate all apprentices on this significant achievement. Their success also reflects the guidance and encouragement of mentors, managers, supervisors, colleagues, friends and family, whose support has been invaluable.

Queen's technician apprenticeships help to develop skills, gain a recognised industry qualification and work in some of the most advanced workshops/labs in Northern Ireland.
