ACCOMMODATION FOR PARTNER STUDENTS

As a partner student your accommodation will be held in advance on your behalf. Once you receive your QUB student number from the Admissions Team you should confirm your Accommodation by completing this form.

You should write BT1 as your preference. BT1 is our modern city centre site, where you will have an en suite bathroom, and shared living and kitchen facilities in a self-contained unit with up to six students. All QUB accommodation is self catering, which means you have facilities to cook your own meals, with a host of local supermarkets and stores nearby. Or if you prefer to eat out there are plentiful cafes and restaurants to explore!

All accommodation comes inclusive of utility bills, high speed internet and 24/7 on site safety team.

There are a few additional things you should be aware of when completing your application for accommodation at Queen’s:

  • You may be asked for up to three accommodation location preferences. Please ensure BT1 is your first choice. The system may require you to insert two other choices, so please just write two 'dummy' choices. You will be assigned to BT1 by the Accommodation Team.
  • If you have any access needs or disabilities which may impact your accommodation needs then please ensure you disclose these when prompted on the application, as this is a separate application to your Queen's study application. If you have any particular access needs we recommend you contact ahssabroad@qub.ac.uk as soon as possible, prior to accommodation applications opening.

What happens after I apply?

After you complete the accommodation form, the Accommodation Team will send you an offer email which will ask you to accept the accommodation offer and read the accompanying terms and conditions.

When you accept the offer it will be subject to you paying a £300.00 refundable deposit.  You can pay this via credit or debit card. Please note the University is unable to accept American Express. If you have issues making your payment please contact the fees team E: residentialfees@qub.ac.uk

Please be assured that with our accommodation guarantee, your deposit is fully refundable should you be unable to take up your place to commence study at Queen’s.
