** The Northern Ireland Department of Health introduced a mandatory clinical placement levy for all new international medical students commencing study at the University from 2019/20 onwards.
This levy of £10,000 is payable in each year of study to cover access to clinical placements in the Northern Ireland Health and Social Care system. The clinical placement levy is not included in the tuition fee quoted above for 2022-23 and is payable in addition to the fee quoted in each of the 5 years of study.
The University will provide financial support in relation to this levy of £10,000 for year 1 and £5,000 for year 2, for students entering Year 1 in the 2022-23 academic year. Please refer to additional course costs below for further details.
** International fees for Medicine are £32,800 per year of study. In addition to this there is a clinical placement charge of £10,000 payable each year which is required by the Department of Health in Northern Ireland.
