Educational Aims Of Programme
This one-year full-time postgraduate programme is for students with an undergraduate degree in architecture who wish to continue their studies in architecture and potentially progress in an architecture, planning, construction, creative industries or design-related profession. The core educational aims are to educate graduates who would have the following attributes:
. A high level of architectural ability, that is technical, aesthetic, and creative, consistent with UK and EU criteria, but reflective of the particular ethos, character, and location
. A self-confidence based on knowledge, mature critical awareness, and refined judgment
. A deep-rooted understanding of context – ethical, societal, professional, and cultural, within which architecture is practiced and produced
. A flexible, adaptive and innovative approach to the architectural and design needs of a changing world
