Educational Aims Of Programme
1: A systematic understanding of the key aspects in Physical Education (PE) and Sport.
2: Coherent, detailed and contemporary knowledge pertaining to PE and Sport
3: An ability to accurately and critically use established techniques of analysis and enquiry in PE and Sport
4: A conceptual understanding that enables a student to devise and sustain arguments and solve problems some which are at the forefront of a subject, and describe and comment on aspects of current research and advanced scholarship in PE and Sport
5: An appreciation of the uncertainty, ambiguity and limits of knowledge relating to PE and Sport
6: An ability to manage their own learning and to make use of scholarly reviews and primary sources such as refereed research articles and original material in PE and Sport 1
