Criteria for Admissions

Higher National Diploma, or equivalent qualification acceptable to the University in an appropriate subject. Holders of the Graduate Certificate in Business Communication for Rural Enterprise with a minimum result of 50% or over will be considered for entry to the PG Certificate.
Please note: these programmes are taught at the College of Agriculture, Food and Rural Enterprise (CAFRE).
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION FOR INTERNATIONAL STUDENTS
This programme is not open to non-EEA nationals. EEA nationals for whom English is not their first language must satisfy University requirements for English language by providing evidence of an IELTS* score of 6.0, with not less than 5.5 in any component, or an equivalent qualification acceptable to the University is required. Awards, Credits and Progression of Learning Outcomes
Candidates who pass the Postgraduate Certificate in Business for Agri-food and Rural Enterprise may, on the recommendation of the Board of Examiners and with the permission of the Adviser of Studies, be permitted to transfer to the Postgraduate Diploma in Business for Agri-Food and Rural Enterprise.

On completion of the programme students will be able to:

3. Apply the principles of Business management across a range of development areas relevant to the Agri-food and rural sectors.

On the completion of this course successful students will be able to:
