EDUCATIONAL AIMS OF PROGRAMME
The aim of the curriculum is to prepare the student to practise safely and effectively so that, on registration, the student can assume the responsibilities and accountability for their practice as a midwife.

Notes
Students will follow a full-time programme of education of not less than 18 months duration. The programme will be 90 calendar weeks inclusive of annual leave which meets the EU Directive 2005/36/EC which came into effect on the 18th January 2016.
