EDUCATIONAL AIMS OF PROGRAMME

To provide effective systems of learning, academic guidance and pastoral support to encourage the academic, intellectual and personal development of our students.

To provide students with the opportunity to pursue appropriately demanding programmes of study focused on Accounting and its cognate disciplines of Economics, Finance and Law, at a breadth and depth appropriate to a first degree qualification.

To provide students who wish to pursue postgraduate studies in Accounting or cognate subjects with the necessary study skills and subject knowledge.

To place accounting in its broader economic, organisational, social and political contexts.

To develop students' knowledge and skills base in ways which inter alia will enhance their employment opportunities.
