Engaging our Community on Biodiversity
The Sustainability Team, and Grounds & Garden Team, host a range of opportunities to get our local community involved in biodiversity initiatives within our campus and beyond.
A range of activities are regularly undertaken within our campus, and beyond:
- Native tree and wildlife hedgerow planting as part of the Million Trees for Belfast Initiative.
- Planting of over 7,000 bulbs within Riddel Hall.
- Engaging with a range of charities and school's to assist them in enhancing their biodiversity (Windsor Women's Centre, YMCA, West Winds Primary School and St. Malachy's Primary School.
