Perhaps your submission will show a future where we work together to create a vibrant, prosperous world. Alternatively, it could illustrate two scenarios: one where we successfully act to address climate change and another where we don’t…

In particular, we would be keen to see entries that show the role of business in tackling climate change, for example, through innovation or the use of cleaner technologies. You could also choose to refer to one or more of the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

Entries can be on an individual or group basis, with first, second and third prizes awarded in each category. Following the challenge, winning submissions will be showcased in a virtual gallery.

  • The challenge is open to young people in Years 8 and 9 from across Northern Ireland.
  • Entries can be on an individual or group basis and may take the form of a poster, comic strip, or collage. 
  • Entries can be submitted between Tuesday 2nd November and Friday 12th November 2021 at 5pm via email to laura.steele@qub.ac.uk, file sharing site (e.g., QUB Dropoff or Dropbox), or by post. Please complete the accompanying entry form here.
  • Winners will be notified on or before Wednesday 15th December 2021. Their submissions will be showcased in a virtual gallery following the close of the competition (subject to permission).
