As this year's guest programmers, Array Collective have chosen to screen An Mór-Ríoghain and Born in Flames. Born in Flames is a 1983 American docufiction drama directed, produced and co-written by radical intersectional feminist Lizzie Borden. The film explores racism, classism, sexism and heterosexism in an alternate socialist democratic United States.

Array Collective are a group of eleven Belfast-based artists and activists. Together, they create collaborative actions in response to the sociopolitical issues affecting Northern Ireland. In 2021, they became the first artists from the north of Ireland to win the Turner Prize.

Following the film, guests will be invited to the Moot Court Room in the School of Law for a discussion on the film's themes with Array Collective's Emma Campbell, Laura O'Connor and Dr Alessia Cargnelli, hosted by Professor Aoife O’Donoghue. The evening will conclude with a reception in the School of Law.

Law on Film is a new annual collaboration between Queen's University Belfast School of Law and QFT. The Law on Film project directors are School of Law staff members, Norah Burns, Marisa McVey and Richard Summerville.
