The Postdoc Society is a vibrant community led by postdocs and research staff from all Faculties at Queen’s. Founded in October 2022, our mission is to support and empower postdoctoral researchers throughout their time at Queen’s. We play a key role in organising a variety of events and initiatives that foster networking and collaboration both across the university and within individual Faculties. These include social gatherings, research-focused events, and highlights like the annual Postdoc Showcase.
Beyond events, the Society advocates for postdocs by maintaining strong connections with the Postdoctoral Development Committee (PDC) and other key university bodies.
We’re excited to welcome new members this academic year. If you’re interested in getting involved, please join us at this information session to find out more.
We especially encourage volunteers from the Faculties of Arts, Humanities & Social Sciences (AHSS) and Engineering and Physical Sciences (EPS) to get involved.
